Research protocols

To create a Protocol, click on Protocols on the navigation bar on the top left.

With Protocols, each step is its own block, where dragging the handle in the top-left corner allows you to reorder the steps. Select the values that you wish to be editable within the Experiment view (we advise only making quantitative values editable).

Once you have created a Protocol, you can insert it directly into Experiments by typing “/Protocol”, pressing Enter, and searching for the right protocol. Any changes you make to the inserted protocol are saved on a child copy, not the parent template.

You can find all experiments that use a particular protocol in the Experiments tab in the Protocol view.
